This year’s Confucius Cup in Dublin, a Bonus Point Level C tournament, brought together 28 participants on 27–28 September. The winner was Cornel Burzo 6d, who remained undefeated in all five rounds. Second came Mathieu Delli-Zotti 4d, and third place went to Zhang Fengyin 5d.

With this victory, Cornel is qualified for the European Grand Prix Finale, which will take place in January in Stockholm.
