The 54th Prague Tournament Old Hunter’s Cup was held on 1–3 May and brought together 158 participants from 21 countries. After six rounds, three players topped the tournament table with five wins, so the final order was decided by the tie-breakers: Andrii Kravets 3p was the winner, Wu Xi 6d was the runner-up, and Valerii Krushelnytskyi 7d finished third.
Hajime Kikkawa 4p, a guest from Japan, played simultaneous games with the participants.
