The 9th Velika Gorica City Go Tournament was held on 13–14 December as a Bonus Points Level C tournament and brought together 80 participants from 17 countries. After five rounds, three players topped the tournament table with four wins, so the podium was decided by the tie breakers: Lukas Podpera 7d was the winner, Mateusz Surma 3p was the runner-up, and Stjepan Medak 6d finished third. This was Lukas’s fifth victory in this year’s European Grand Prix series.
