The 2nd Pisa International Weiqi Cup was held on 5–6 September as a European Grand Prix Level C event. This tournament attracted 52 players from 13 countries.
Shin Youngsoo 7d was the winner, remaining undefeated in all five rounds. Four players from the top group won three out of five games; here is the final order of places 2 to 5 according to the tie-breakers (SOS): Davide Bernardis 6d, Tianyi Fu 6d, Jan Sebela 3d, and Frantisek Caha 3d.
